Free Guest Post Finder

Find websites that accept guest posts in any niche. Enter a keyword and get 22 ready-made Google and Bing searches, free and with no sign-up.

How to use the guest post finder

  1. Enter your niche. Use a broad topic (“fitness”) rather than a long phrase. Broad topics return more sites.
  2. Pick a region. Choose a country domain if you need local relevance, such as UK sites for a UK business.
  3. Run the searches. Click Google or Bing next to any query. Each one opens a results page full of sites that publish guest content.

Tip: start with the “Write for us” and “Guest post guidelines” queries. They find sites that openly invite contributors, which have the highest reply rates.

What these search operators do

  • “quotes” force an exact-match phrase, so “write for us” only returns pages using those words.
  • intitle: finds the phrase in the page title, usually the site’s dedicated contributor page.
  • inurl: finds the phrase in the URL, such as /write-for-us/.
  • site: limits results to a domain ending, like .co.uk.
  • -site: removes platforms like Medium and LinkedIn, where anyone can post and links carry little weight.

Google explains these in its guide to search operators.

How to vet a site before you pitch

Finding sites is easy. Picking the right ones is where most guest posting campaigns fail. Check every site against this list:

  • Real organic traffic. Check the trend in a tool like Semrush or Ahrefs. A flat or falling line is a warning sign.
  • Topical relevance. The site should genuinely cover your topic, not every topic.
  • Indexed content. Search site:domain.com on Google. If few pages show up, Google may not trust the site.
  • Outbound link patterns. If every post links out to casinos, loans and crypto, walk away.
  • Real authors and editing. Author bios, consistent quality and readers commenting are good signs.

Red flags: sites to avoid

  • A “write for us” page that lists prices for every niche, including casino and CBD
  • Huge authority metrics but almost no organic traffic
  • Thousands of guest posts published in the last few months
  • A homepage with no real navigation, only a blog feed

A short pitch that gets replies

Editors receive dozens of pitches a day. Keep yours short, specific and about their readers:

Hi [Name], I read your piece on [recent article] and liked [specific point]. I’d like to write a guide for your readers on [topic idea 1] or [topic idea 2]. Both would be original, practical and fully edited before I send them. Here are two pieces I’ve written recently: [links]. Would either fit your editorial calendar?

Is guest posting still safe in 2026?

Yes, when it’s done for readers, not only for links. Google’s link spam policy targets large-scale guest posting with keyword-stuffed anchors.

Google also asks that paid links are qualified with rel=”sponsored”. Its site reputation abuse policy also hits sites that publish low-value third-party content.

The safe approach is a few genuinely useful articles on relevant, well-run sites, using natural anchors. That’s the approach behind every Linkuild placement. See our case studies for real examples.

FAQ

Is this guest post finder really free?

Yes. There’s no sign-up and no limit. The tool builds search queries in your browser, and you run them on Google or Bing yourself.

Why use search operators instead of a guest post list?

Public lists get spammed fast. Sites on them are flooded with pitches and often sell links to anyone. Search operators find fresh sites in your exact niche.

How many guest posts should I aim for?

Quality beats volume. A few relevant placements on trusted sites usually do more than dozens of weak ones.

Does Google penalise guest posts?

Google penalises manipulative patterns, such as mass guest posting with exact-match anchors. Useful content on relevant sites, with natural or properly qualified links, is fine.
