What is white-label link building?
White-label link building means an outside team builds links for your clients, and you resell the work as your own. You keep the client relationship, the branding and the margin.
It lets agencies offer link building without hiring outreach staff, building publisher relationships or managing writers. You sell the service. We do the work behind the scenes.
Why agencies outsource link building
- Outreach doesn’t scale in-house. Finding sites, pitching editors and negotiating placements takes hours for every single link.
- Publisher access takes years. Good placements come from relationships. We already have them.
- Quality control is hard. Many link sellers are link farms in disguise. One bad batch can hurt your client and your reputation.
- Your team should focus on strategy. Audits, content and client calls earn more than chasing editors.
What’s included
Fully unbranded reports
Reports carry no Linkuild branding, so you can send them as your own or add your logo.
No client contact
We only talk to you. Your client never sees our name, emails or invoices.
Hand-vetted publications
Every site is checked for real organic traffic, indexing and outbound link patterns before we offer it.
You approve every site
We share the sites and pages first. Nothing is placed without your OK.
Content included
Our writers create articles that fit each publication’s audience and read naturally.
Live link checks
Every link is checked by a person before it goes into your report.
Your clients stay yours
The fear every agency has about a white-label partner is simple: will they go around us? Our answer is structural, not just a promise. We never contact your clients, for any reason. Our name appears nowhere they can see it: not in reports, not in invoices they might glimpse, not in bylines or author accounts on placements. If your process uses an NDA, we work under it. Your client relationship is your asset; our job is to stay invisible enough that it stays that way.
Services you can resell
- Guest posting: new articles on relevant, authoritative publications.
- Niche edits: links added to existing articles that already rank and get traffic.
- Digital PR: press coverage and brand mentions on news and media sites.
- Full link building campaigns: a monthly plan matched to your client’s target pages.

How it works
- Send the brief. Share your client’s site, target pages, niche and anchor preferences.
- Get a site shortlist. We send matching publications with their metrics, ready for you or your client to approve.
- We create and place. We write the content, handle outreach and get the links live.
- Receive your report. A clean, unbranded report with every live URL and anchor, ready to forward.
From brief to report: how a white-label order runs
The four steps above are the outline. Here is what each one actually involves, because agencies usually discover the gaps in a partner’s process only after a client deadline slips.
The brief
One short brief per client: their website, the pages that need links, the niche, anchor preferences and anything excluded (competitors, topics, publications they dislike). If a brief is thin, we say what is missing before work starts rather than guessing with your client’s budget.
The shortlist
You receive real publications with their traffic and authority data, not a count of links. Every site on it has passed the same vetting we apply to our own campaigns: real organic traffic, a genuine editorial operation, and an outbound link pattern that would not embarrass your agency in front of a knowledgeable client. You approve each site, or send it to your client to approve. Nothing is placed from an unapproved list.
Placement and quality control
Content is written for each publication’s audience and checked before submission. When a link goes live, a person verifies the page, the target URL, the anchor text and the link attribute. If a publisher changes or removes a link, we spot it in our 30-day recheck, raise it with the publisher, and work to have it restored or replaced.
Communication
You have one point of contact and one thread per client. Status is never a surprise: you know which placements are placed, which are in review with editors, and which are scheduled, before your client asks you.
What your report contains
Every delivery report is unbranded and client-ready. For each placement it lists:
- The publication and the live article URL
- The target page on your client’s site
- The anchor text used
- The link attribute (dofollow, nofollow or sponsored)
- The date the link went live
Reports arrive as a clean sheet you can forward as-is, add your logo to, or fold into your own reporting format. There is no Linkuild branding anywhere in the document, and no mention of us in the delivery chain.
Safe links your clients can trust
Google’s link spam policy targets links that exist only to manipulate rankings. Its site reputation abuse policy also hits sites that publish low-value third-party content at scale.
That’s why we avoid link farms and grey-niche sites. You can check any site yourself with our free link farm detector, and verify every delivered link with the backlink placement checker.
What agencies resell most
Agencies package white-label link building differently depending on their clients. The patterns we see most often:
Local SEO agencies
Guest posts and niche edits on regional and niche publications, sold as a monthly add-on to a local SEO retainer. Volumes are small, relevance is everything, and the client usually approves every site personally.
General SEO agencies
A monthly campaign matched to each client’s target pages: a mix of guest placements and insertions, reported alongside the rankings work the agency already does. This is the most common arrangement, because it fills the one gap most agencies have – publisher access – without changing how they sell.
PR and content agencies
Digital PR placements and top-tier coverage, where the link is a bonus on top of the mention. These agencies resell access to publications their clients could not reach with a press release alone.
How agencies package and sell it
Most agencies do not sell links as a line item. They sell outcomes inside a package: link building appears as part of a monthly SEO retainer, a content-and-links bundle, or an authority-building tier with a set number of placements per quarter. That packaging is yours to design. Our part stays constant – vetted publications, your approval before placement, content written to each publication’s standard, and an unbranded report that drops straight into your client reporting. If you are building a package and want to sanity-check the numbers, ask us for the catalogue first: the reseller price of every publication is visible after sign-up, so your package maths is based on real prices, not estimates.

White-label partner, in-house hire, or typical reseller?
| Linkuild white-label | In-house outreach hire | Typical link reseller | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Time to first placement | Days – the publisher network already exists | Months of hiring and relationship building | Fast, because the list is recycled |
| Site vetting | Every site checked and approved by you first | Depends on the hire’s judgement | Metrics only, if that |
| Reporting | Unbranded, every live URL listed | Whatever you build yourself | Totals and summaries |
| Client contact | None, ever | Internal, so none | Sometimes direct, without telling you |
| Cost shape | Per placement, only when you order | Salary, tools and management time | Cheap per link, expensive in clean-up |
Agency pricing
Agencies get reseller pricing, so you keep a healthy margin on every link. Pricing depends on the publication, and there are no hidden fees.
So you can plan your own pricing: across the open market, a genuine editorial placement on a vetted publication typically runs $95 to $500+, and top-tier or national titles sit at $1,000+. Agencies working with us see the exact reseller price of each publication in the catalogue after signing up, set their own client price on top, and keep the full margin. There is no long-term contract required to start.

White-label link building FAQ
Will my clients know you built the links?
No. We never contact your clients, and every report is unbranded. You present the work as your own.
Can I add my own logo to the reports?
Yes. Reports are delivered unbranded, so you can add your agency’s logo and send them in your own format.
Do you work with freelancers and small agencies?
Yes. We work with freelancers, small SEO shops and large agencies. There’s no long-term contract.
Can my client approve the sites first?
Yes. We share the site list before anything is placed, so you or your client can approve each one.
Are the links dofollow?
Most placements are dofollow. Each site’s link type is shown upfront, so you always know what you’re buying.
How long does delivery take?
It depends on the publication. We share the expected turnaround for each site before you order.
What margin can my agency make?
You set your own client pricing. Our reseller prices are per publication and visible in the catalogue after you sign up, so you can build your margin into your packages or per-link prices before you quote a client. Most agencies price link building as part of a monthly SEO package, where the margin is theirs to structure.
What happens if a link is removed after delivery?
Every placement is rechecked after 30 days. If a link has been removed or changed in that window, we raise it with the publisher and work to have it restored or replaced. If a publisher removes a link later, tell us: we will always approach them first, because placements on real publications usually come back when the original partner asks.
